Empowering Women Through Compassionate Care
We are a wellness clinic dedicated to nurturing the well-being of women facing the complex challenges of homelessness, mental illness, and disabilities. Our mission is to empower these individuals to reclaim their wellness and dignity by stabilizing their medical and mental health needs in a safe, sanitary, and nurturing environment.
Our Services
At CareMend, Inc., our credentialed staff provides thorough assessments to establish individualized treatment plans and managed care. Our comprehensive services are designed to facilitate the opportunity for women to transition from homelessness to assisted living and ultimately to independent housing and employment.
Community Collaboration
We play a pivotal role in supporting our city’s efforts to rehabilitate and stabilize women with disabilities and those facing mental illness. Our clinic partners with California's Care Court and Regional Centers for referrals. Referrals start with an initial intake process to assess their needs, providing a safe, clean space with medication stabilization, therapeutic interventions, clean clothing, and nutritious food. Women receive monitoring and managed care in our facility until they can transition to an assisted living facility.
Our Vision
Our vision is to build a compassionate team of therapists and trained assistants who can offer therapeutic support, with the goal of helping at least 25% of our women’s homeless population transition to a more stable and hopeful future. We are committed to providing holistic support that addresses not only immediate needs but also fosters long-term stability and growth.
Creating Opportunities
Our program not only supports women in need but also creates employment opportunities in our community and supports surrounding businesses with the staff working in our clinic. Together, we are committed to creating a brighter tomorrow for those in need, one step at a time.
